Scholarship Program

Rooted In Play Outdoor Learning is passionate about getting all families, no matter their circumstance, learning outdoors together.

If you would like the financial support of a scholarship for the Winter 2025 season, please read below to learn more and click the link at the bottom of this page to apply. All responses remain confidential, and no financial information is required. Applications deadline is Wednesday, December 18th and recipients will be chosen Thursday, December 19th.

AVAILABILITY
This season, there are a total of 6 grants currently available. Three children (1 child per class) will receive 50% off the tuition for a full series class, and three children (1 child per class) will receive 100% off the tuition for a full series class.  

SELECTION
Scholarships will be selected on December 19th, and will be chosen at random. If you are selected, you must respond and complete your enrollment within 48 hours. Families that are not chosen will be added to the wait list and notified. Wait listed families will be contacted in the order each applied, if the original grant recipient declines or does not confirm their grant.

ADDITIONAL INFO
All applicants must be Utah state residents to participate in the scholarship program. Flex Packs are excluded from the scholarship program. Scholarships can only be awarded to ONE child per family. If you are enrolling any additional children, the second child can be enrolled at the regular rate, and any additional children will receive the sibling discount. If you have been selected and your preferred class day/time does not meet minimum enrollment, your scholarship will carry over into the following season. Scholarships cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.
