Earth Day Party | April 19

from $0.00

It’s Earth Day, and we’re throwing a party for the Earth! 🌎💚🥳

To kick-off this celebration, we’ll begin by caring for the Earth with a community trash pick-up. Then, we’ll gather in our play area to celebrate the Earth with a party, by getting our hands dirty and creating some muddy "treats" in an outdoor kitchen. Kids and grown-ups will also get a chance to reflect and wonder together on why we are thankful for the Earth and how your family promises to care for it.

The chance to clean-up the park and stage a party for the Earth, is a marvelous, age appropriate way to celebrate Earth Day, inspire creativity and empathy, and help everyone feel a genuine connection to and appreciation for our planet and our community.

CLASS DETAILS

  • Saturday, Apr 19th

  • 10AM-11:30AM

  • Crestwood Park, Cottonwood Heights

  • For kids ages 1-10+ (with a parent or caregiver)

*This class is donation-based. Donations are not required, but much appreciated. Donations allow Rooted In Play Outdoor Learning to offer more low-cost and free classes to the community.
